No surprises... even though Discovery repeats the same programme several times a week (and a day), it's always way more interesting than local TV... I get disgusted with the ignorance of presenters and their lack of interest in their guests...

Maltese TV for me is a big joke they are either cooking or selling something or other,.Xarabank is treated like a court if you are summoned by the prosecutor (Peppi)and don't go hell will be payed and don't you dare call the PM by his name or you will be haunted for the rest of your life.Same old faces doing same old programs on Super one.And Net TV should be called THE LIFE AND TIMES OF JOE MUSCAT. as for the radio stations more food more ads more competitions of which the listeners have no clue what to answer as most of the callers are thick and most of all more bla bla bla from Malta's know it alls

i used to live in malta .,, except for the likes of enzo guzman and a few others who knew something about culture in music,. the stations were boring!.,.,.,here in canada i listen to a cultural station,.,.it has news, opera, classical ethnic songs with not one comercial!.,.,it,s so refreshing .,.,., i read all my other news online.,.,,. why malta cant use their radio to educate people about music in other languages is sad.,,..,i know how it feels to listen to ya diddy boom boom all day long..,.,turn it off!!!!

Especially if some of the local stations continue to offend our intelligence by offering certain programmes.

Why bother to watch local TV stations. Same old recycled programmes and same ANCIENT faces. News readers who burst through from one item to the other without even stopping to breathe. No cultural programmes to speak of, never an opera or a concert with contrast to football which is given prominence every day on all stations. We even had a radio station, FM Bronia, which was shut down becaust no adverts were aired on it and so it did not render any income. Some radio stations are nothing but juke boxes blaring commercial music all day long. I would like to think that those who have stopped watching TV and listening to the radio have instead turned to reading. There is real satisfaction.

... and especially now that Gizelle is no longer on air... :)

Let's face it, Maltese TV stations are more keen on selling airtime than produce quality television. Television is dominated by the same people, the subjects are always the same, news bulletins are too predictable and the readers' lack of enthusiasm is too obvious.

Why watch Maltese television any longer?

I can't understand how these surveys are done. I never watch local tv.
